"We are seeking a versatile sales person with strong business-to-
business hunting skills. Four to six years experience in telephone
sales of Web-based business-to-
business solutions. Familiarity with
B2B software sold via an ASP model is a must.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Prospect, profile, identify and close business to senior level
executives in the small to medium size company continuing care market
for our ASP referral management offerings through consistent cold
calling, networking, and other lead generation means
• Drive revenue and sales to meet personal targets through
prospecting, active funnel management, accurate weekly forecasts, and
closing business.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and presentations based on the
prospect's requirements.
• Maintain records utilizing Microsoft Excel and SalesForce.com
• Regularly interacts with senior management on matters concerning
solutions, market, and customers. Requires the ability to change the
thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations.
Bachelors in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent
experience.
The ideal candidate would have five years of technology sales in the
healthcare industry, specifically Web-based services targeted at
continuing care providers (nursing homes, LTACs, home health
agencies).
• A passionate self-motivated self-starter with a sincere
willingness to learn the continuing care market, close business and
make money.
• Highly focused with a strong desire to "hunt" and close new
business within a startup-environment
.
• Resourceful with impeccable communication skills.
• Strong phone sales skills, understanding of the sales
process, and the ability to make high volume outbound calls to build
a prospect funnel base.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel SalesForce.com
and WebEx.
• Ability to maneuver through a start-up environment.
• Street smarts go a long way.
While this is an inside sales position, there may be occasional
travel to prospects in the southeastern U.S. and to trade shows
(approx. 10%)."
